The first 2019 HR Roundtable “Challenges Expected in 2019” was hosted at Novartis Slovakia. Their HR team presented the key topics for 2019: bottom-up leadership through culture change, self-development and mental health, and employer branding. They shared a culture change in a hierarchical organization when the CEO drives the bottom-up leadership. Together with our experienced psychologists and coaches from Human Dynamic, the discussion focused on the topic of mental/emotional health, which continues to be more relevant and important today for companies and HR.
Human Dynamic supported the Christmas Benefit Concert for the homeless, which took place on December 13, 2018 at the Dvorana Concert Hall. It provided an amazing experience for the clients who accepted our invitation, for the Human Dynamic team and our families, as well as for those who decided to support the needy. Sima Martausová, a Slovak singer songwriter, surprised with her sense of humor and beautiful songs. This charitable event provided a festive Christmas atmosphere, as well as the sense of warmth and gratitude for the loved ones in our lives. After the concert, we enjoyed a glass of good wine with our clients and friends.

Trust – the only thing that can change everything was the topic of the HR Roundtable in April, hosted at DELL Slovakia. We had the opportunity to talk about what trust means to each of us personally and how trust is demonstrated in the companies where we work. The best capture of the event was through a feedback we received: “Thank you very much for giving me the opportunity to attend the HR Roundtable. I took away very good feelings and felt the atmosphere of trust among the attendants. It’s great that to have this type of an event where we can share experience among each other, and I’m happy that I was able to be a part of it. With all types of work and other tasks, it is great to slow down a bit and think about those things that we sometimes forget about in our everyday lives.”
We enjoyed the team photoshoot one february morning...
The topic How to give difficult feedback and protect relationships brought an interesting and lively discussion of the HR community at IBM Slovakia, who hosted the event. It was about communicating a difficult message and the difference between criticism and feedback. The participants even tried the feedback application KaHoot.
Miriam Lachova led an interactive workshop at the Project Management Institute Slovakia event at DELL Slovakia. Workshop focused on effective building of trust and trustworthiness in self, in a team and in an organization.
