Petr is a therapist who supports people in their difficulties and looks for ways to improve their quality of life. He works with adults, children and adolescents. Petr helps his clients in areas such as: anxiety, panic, depression, loss of meaning, crisis, self-confidence, self-awareness, addictions, anger management, burnout syndrome, stress, parenting, life changes, loss of a loved one, working with adolescent topics and others. In counseling, he creates a safe and confidential environment based on deep respect for the uniqueness of each person and on cooperation in revealing and strengthening inner resources. Petr uses an integrative approach that allows a flexible combination of different therapeutic directions and methods, which provides the opportunity to adapt the therapy process to the specific needs of each person. His goal is to accompany clients on their journey, help them understand themselves, find new strategies for coping with difficulties and strengthen their own ability to have a satisfied and fulfilled life. He consults in the Czech language.
Petr completed a Bachelor's Degree in Adult Education at the Jan Amos Comenius University and received a Diploma in Personnel Management at the Higher Vocational School of Economic Studies. At the Palacký University in Olomouc, he is pursuing a Master's Degree in Applied Psychotherapy. He expands his education with other courses and trainings, such as a five-year training in Integrative Psychotherapy at the Skálův Institute, training in Complex Crisis Intervention and training in the Anger Management Method. Petr started his practice in a private company, where he focused on recruitment and development of employees. As a volunteer, he also worked with people with a criminal history and prisoners, where he learned the impact of addiction on an individual, as well as his environment. Petr also worked in the non-profit sector, particularly with people with mental illnesses and health disadvantages.
