Filip received his Master’s Degree in Social Pedagogy at the Faculty of Education of the Jan Evangelista Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem. He is completing the long-term psychotherapy training in Solution-Oriented Psychotherapy, and has completed the comprehensive Crisis Intervention Training, Internet Counseling Training, Coaching Training and other trainings, such as Managing Others – how to develop people, motivate and achieve results. He worked as a nurse at the Hospital of the Sisters of Mercy of St. Karel Borromeo. After that, he spent a number of his professional life in the corporate environment, where he held positions of the head of learning and development, head of customer experience, lecturer and coach. After leaving the corporate world, he worked at a Crisis Center as a crisis responder, and subsequently as a crisis ambulance manager.
He currently works at the Mental Health Center and the Helpline at the Bohnice Psychiatric Hospital. In his work, Filip focuses on creating a therapeutic relationship and ensuring a safe space for the client's emotions and thoughts. He uses the philosophy and techniques of solution-oriented therapy, which helps in finding resources and ways to accommodate clients’ needs. He supports clients with topics such as anxiety and panic attacks, depression, partnerships, relationships, stress, burnout, self-esteem, suicidal thoughts, working with seniors, domestic violence, illness, loss and dying, companionship, support for caring for a sick member of the family, and various life changes. He consults in the Czech language.
